Experience & Approach
Our roots are in music touring, lighting everything from small clubs to arenas and stadiums. That work put us at the center of lighting's shift from static setups to digital, automated systems, and it opened doors to churches, faith-based events, and corporate productions. Along the way, we learned to bring the vibrancy and spectacle of a tour to any room, always in a way that fits the message.
We made the same leap in drafting, moving from paper to CAD and eventually landing in Vectorworks. Along the way, we noticed a lot of repetitive work that better tools could solve. That instinct led us to build our own, starting with a single tool and growing into a family of fifteen, now used by over 2,000 designers in 39 countries. Those tools are licensed to Vectorworks today, and we still develop and support the Landru Design versions.
As CAD has evolved, so has our role. We still draft, but we spend just as much time behind the scenes, setting standards, solving problems, training teams, and keeping departments in sync, so the people building the show always have what they need.
