Staging ToolSet 2 is a set of four Vectorworks® Plug-In Objects, StageDeck 2, StagePlug 2, StageSteps 2, and StageRamp 2, that let you insert models of stage sections and risers, irregularly-shaped stage pieces, stage-style step units, and stage-style ramps directly into your drawings.
What's Included
Fully Adjustable Configurations — Reconfigure every model through the familiar Object Info Palette, with control over dimensions (depth, width, radius, and height), structure (legs, fixed frame, or folding), and castor and rail inclusion.
Automatic Textures — Every part of every object is fully textured out of the box, with custom textures easy to assign. Parts can also be organized into separate Vectorworks® Classes, so you can control texture assignment by Class.
On-Screen Dimensions — Display embedded text such as heights and dimensions directly on each object, with select measurements shown in multiple unit types, like inches and millimeters, at once.
Shape & Style Options — StageDeck 2 creates rectangular or round decks. StageDeck 2, StageSteps 2, and StageRamp 2 all support multiple railing options. StageRamp 2 can build ramps based on floor length, actual ramp length, angle, rise-to-run ratio, or grade.

A version of Staging ToolSet 2 has been part of Vectorworks Spotlight® since 2015. That said, the Landru Design version so many users depend on is still very much alive, and still offers real advantages:
Works Without Spotlight
Runs in any Vectorworks package, version 2024® or newer, including 2027. Spotlight® and Designer® are not required.
Faster Fixes
Quicker turnaround on fixes and future updates, so issues get resolved sooner.

Staging ToolSet 2 works with Windows and Mac Vectorworks® 2024 or newer, including 2027. Please confirm compatibility before purchasing, refunds are not issued for version incompatibility.
Upgrading from a Previous Version
Staging ToolSet 2 version 2.442 is available free of charge to users who purchased a previous-version license on or after September 16, 2025. If you qualify, contact us for download information, you'll need to provide the last six characters of your Vectorworks® serial number. All other users can find upgrade pricing below.
